Piligrimage to Varanasi has profound influence on my spiritual thoughts and I have seen, how Buddha has relinquished whole family and every worldly pleasures inspite of obstructions from the loved members of the family. How the Pithru Devatas will be rememberd and offred Pindarchana rituals that has significant influence on the spirituality, thirdly the moksha concept and Kasi Visweswara Kataksham through which we can escape from the rigours of repeated lives, the Baidyanath Jyothirling Ashirwad to live healthy till the last breath.

most beautiful GANAGA AARATHI |
On 31 Dec 2010 I started early in the morning from Hyderabad. My flight took me to Delhi by 8:40 AM then, I could get Varanasi flight at 10:30 Hrs. Reached Varanasi airport by 11:50 hrs and then by auto reached Dasaswamed Ghat (Andhra Ashram ) at about 1:30 PM.
GANGA BOAT RIDE IN VARANASI |
There is no booking permitted in this place so, I have been told to wait for some time as some people have already given their consent for leaving the place by noon time. I could get into the room by 2PM, then after a while I went straight to the main Kasi Viswanath temple.
SIBERIAN DUCKS IN GANAGA VARANASI PICTURE TAKEN FROM THE BOAT |
Temple Is located in a sacred place encroached by the vendor shops from all sides. The entrance lane of 3 and half foot width and a snake like structure with the brick road is really amazing. Piligrims move in this narrow lane and reach the holy Kasi Viswanath temple for Kshera Abhishekam (milk). I prayed to the Lord severally for the welfare of my children my daughters family, grand daughter and for the blessing the sons with good brides. I then proceeded to Ganga Ghat for the most famous Ganga Aarathi at 6:30 PM. This is another amazing and most interesting part of piligrimage. I have taken no. of photos.

IN GAYA VISHNUPADAM TEMPLE WHERE I PERFORMED THE PITHRU KARYAM RITUAL (WITH DHOVATHI) |
Buddha gaya Bihar where Siddartha got the enlightenment The Bodhi tree is seen just behind the Mandir. |
The Andhra Ashram has a travel agency fellow adjacent to their office in one of the rooms provided by the Ashram management. They are reliable and take care of the piligrims very well. We have fixed up visit to Gaya (for Pithru Karyam) and Bodha gaya which is at about 270 kms away fro varanasi. early morning at about 5 am we started on 1 Jan 2011 and reached Gaya Bihar where we had performed the Pithru Pooja and Pinda danam from 11 AM upto 1PM at VISHNU PADAM TEMPLE. Then, we went to Bodhagaya which is 16 kms on the way back to Varanasi. At The Bodha gaya temple, we hired a guide for Rs.100/- This is the place where Buddha got the enlightenment under the pepal tree (Ravi chettu) and it is located just at the adjoining area back to the main temple. The main temple has been escavated by the British officer during the 18th century. Original stone mandir has been reconstructed using brick and cement in the same style as was the original stone temple built by Emperor Ashoka in 3rd century BC. Ashoka's first wife of Kalinga has taken the Bodhi sappling to srilanka as she didnot wish to live with her husband for the killings of her Kalinga Raj citizens ruthlessly.
